I specialize in natural looks, enhancing and uncovering your natural beauty, without masking it under layers of heavy makeup.  I take pride in my work and use the best products, where quality is the number one priority.  I listen to, and deliver on your wants and needs, whether it’s soft and natural, or evening glam. Not only is quality a priority, so is sanitation and maintaining a clean kit and work station.

What products do you use? Do you have a favourite brand?

I use a number of different brands in my kit, that includes mostly pro brands.  Some of the main contenders are Viseart, Guerlain, Becca, Sonia Roselli Beauty, Face Atelier, MAC, Ben Nye, RCMA, Senna, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Lise Watier, Urban Decay, and more.  I don’t have a favourite brand, per se.  I find products that I’m in love with, and add them to my kit.  There was a lot of trial and error to build a kit of top-quality, high-performance products.

How long does a makeup application take? 

​

This will vary, factors like how much skin prep we need, and changes made before a look is finalized will affect the overall time needed.  Every application will start with a skin assessment, and move onto makeup application after ideas and expectations are laid out.  Typically, you can expect 45 minutes for a full-face application, with skin prep.  If we need to take extra steps, like exfoliate, or make changes to the colour choices, this will, of course, add on time.  The goal is for you to have a relaxing time, not rush the clock, or be stressed out. I say aim for an hour for the appointment.   For mobile services, I will arrive 15 minutes early to set up.

Why are the cost for Bride and Bridal party more? 

 

In a nutshell, a lot goes into bridal parties.  From the planning, and back and forth communication leading up to the big day, then the early morning start, long stretches of standing without breaks for your artist, and on-location service.  Your artist brings the kit, the lighting, the talent, to ensure you’re picture-perfect, to commemorate your special day.

A typical wedding party starts at 7 am, and is 4-6 hours of standing, without breaks between people, to get everyone done.  Not to mention maintaining a sanitary and clean station between faces, it’s a lot of work in a short period of time.
